New Schools

There is a widening gap between the ways students learn in the 21st century and the way most teachers learned a few decades earlier. The gap is widening because teachers are not always able to relate to current student needs. In addition, students are learning at a faster and more advanced level than some teachers are able to comprehend. As a result, the disconnect between the way teachers teach and students learn occurs.

  1. I agree that it is difficult sometimes for me to relate to student needs - sometimes the needs are so great that I feel I can only relate to the school portion of their lives.
